Georgina is a Support Consultant and a Provisional Psychologist. Georgina has worked with a range of public and private sector organisations on projects relating to leadership development, capability frameworks, strategic planning, development centers, learning and training and organisational development.
Georgina’s approach is informed by her academic and research background in Organisational Psychology. She’s passionate about using an evidence-based approach to support people to work together effectively to make positive, sustained and meaningful impact. She’s currently conducting research with the University of Sydney, investigating the impact of interpersonal relationships, culture and team dynamics on workplace performance, and the impact of burnout in high-risk occupational settings. Previous research projects that Georgina’s been involved with relate to resilience, mental health and the role of compassion in the workplace.
Prior to Bendelta, Georgina’s background was primarily in the social enterprise/not-for-profit sector, and working in the start-up environment. She has a keen interest in human-centered design, social impact and seeing innovative ideas come to life. Georgina’s experience also lies in leadership development; she spent several years working for a not-for-profit focused on leadership development for university-aged young people, which involved values- and strengths-based coaching, mentoring and small group facilitation. Georgina is driven and takes a relationship-oriented approach to her work. She’s passionate about using a people-focused perspective to enhance the effectiveness of teams and organisation and aspires to make a meaningful impact on the lives of the people she works with and for.
